Perfect for snowbirds or family getaway, this house is a water sports, boating, fishing and golf dream come true. With 3 bedrooms and one murphy bed you can enjoy the peace and relaxation of a quiet hideaway - all with being an hour or so to major Florida attractions. A couple of important notes before you read on. This is a quiet house NOT a party house. We live in the neighborhood and manage this house locally. WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS unless it is a longer term rental. Max people is 6-7 with no kids under age 5. Non walking babies are ok. Please ask if you have any questions :) This is due to safety concerns as this house is not baby-proofed. Back to the description: The St. John's river is 400 miles long with many parks, springs, side rivers to explore. It flows South to North and is spring fed, featuring excellent fishing for bass, catfish, tilapia, shrimp, crab and more. Boating is a dream here because the river is mostly surrounded by national forest and protected areas. It is not lined with many homes or developments. This creates an unspoiled experience on the river without a lot of boats or people to interfere with your peaceful time. The House and location Newly renovated and freshly painted, the house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is one Murphy bed, so there are plenty of beds for people to have their own space. Golf We have a lovely public golf course located walking distance! It has a restaurant, club rentals and golf carts. Boat and yard Situated on the canal that opens right onto the St. John's River, we have a nice gazebo, barbecue grill and small yard. We have a boat dock and lift available if you would like to use it right at the house. For large boats, there is a facility called Renegades on the River, less than a quarter of a mile that has a dock for large boats. There is also a ramp, gas and supplies. TV and entertainment We have a large screen TV to watch the big game, dvd player and sound bar. In the master, there is an additional large tv with netflix and hulu. Cable is avail only on the main tv in the living room. The guest room has a small smart TV. Kitchen, bed and bath Fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need for service of 7. Bedrooms are supplied with linens and bathrooms are supplied with towels, soap and shampoo, conditioner and blow dryers. An iron and ironing board is also there in case it is needed. New appliances include microwave, dishwasher, stove, coffee bar, fridge with ice dispenser and oven. New granite counters and open floor plan make our kitchen wonderful for cooking and entertaining. Garage and laundry There is a laundry in the garage. The garage is not available to park your car, as we keep our car there. But there is plenty of parking in the driveway and front. There is a utility sink, new washer and dryer in the garage for your use. It is our vacation home, so we try to be sure it has everything needed—just bring your boat, golf clubs, food, clothes and positive vibe! We decorated the house with love and care, so we hope you will find peace and positive energy here. We have hotel quality linens and everything is very clean. If there is anything you need that is a special consideration, please let us know as we are happy to do what we can to make you stay amazing. Neighborhood Our neighbors are the best part of our house. Mostly retired, they get together for golf, pizza and sharing of good fishing. There are great walking partners, kayakers and friends!

You will not be disappointed. 12 years ago this home was custom built as a vacation home for a multi millionaire and it is true quality shows. Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 4 bedroom/2 bath home. The main/master bedroom has a king sized bed, while the remaining two rooms are each furnished with queen sized beds, dressers, chests and nightstands and are comfortable for two people each. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds. The large living room is furnished with extremely comfortable furniture { have just replaced the couch and loveseat with ones that have 4 reclining seats. and an excellent setting to watch a big screen TV with Amazon prime The kitchen is equipped with all new luxury appliances. There are all the kitchen dishes, accessories, gadgets, pots and pans that a gourmet chef could ask for. The kitchen is perfect for informal dining as it is equipped with four person breakfast bar and high top chairs. There is a semi formal dining room that seats 8 or more when you add leaves to the table.. There is a new gas and charcoal grill that will please the most particular griller. From the front yard you look across a small harbor park at the beautiful St Johns River. The backyard is on a deep water canal with ample water depth and docking for large boat or small yacht. Docking your boat under the covered boathouse and the safety of being able to leave your possessions right in your boat over night. There is a fire pit for bonfires By water 1/2 mile there is Turkey Island which has a huge sandbar where many people park their boats and party and swim. By drive we are less then 30 minutes to crescent beach near beautiful Saint Augustine. We are canoeing distance to the scenic Oklawaha River that is teaming with wildlife and great fishing. Just outside our harbor entrance is the Welaka Springs which is a popular gathering place for manatees. There is plenty of parking in the front yard. Very safe neighborhood. I leave my all my fishing equipment in my boat in the canal and I have never had anything stolen. There is a private 12'x50' waterfront dock with lots seating and a large sun shade and dining area just steps from the 12'x30' screened porch Which also has comfortable Tommy Bahama wicker seating and a game table which can also be used for dining. I also have a 16 foot bass fishing boat that I rent for $40 per day or $200 for a whole week, There is a $25 cleaning fee for the bass boat. and a large pontoon boat that I rent for $100 per day $500 per week, there is a $50 cleaning fee for the pontoon boat. The fishing right in the backyard is great. The canal is over 9 foot deep so by Florida standards it is a deep fishing hole. You do not even need a fishing license to fish in the canal. You need a license to fish in the river. Everyone who has stayed here are overjoyed that the house and setting is better than the pictures show or that they had imagined. There are several nice restaurants all within a couple of miles. This area of Florida is called the sportsman's capital of the world. You have fresh water fishing (lunker bass), saltwater fishing, crabbing, shrimping, scalloping, alligator hunting, deer hunting, wild boar hunting, boating, sailing, swimming, snorkeling and abundant wildlife viewing. We have several fresh water springs nearby that attract manatees. Occasionally I will have manatees right in the canal in back of the house. I have games and lots of books that you can swap for books that you have read, so bring along books that you do not need. I have recently made some changes to the house, I have replaced all the carpeting and the laminate flooring in the house and the screened in porch, I have had the entire house walls ceiling and woodwork repainted, I have reupholstered the screened in porch furniture as well as refinished all the wicker. I have had the mattress steam cleaned and window coverings dry-cleaned. I have also hired a Concierge/ assistant manager Michelle who has moved into the guest house where I have lived for the past 5 years, I have moved into my new house just around the corner. We have a nice 18-hole golf course a couple of miles away that is cheap to play, You can bring your own clubs or you can use mine, they also rent clubs.
